2031 Quick Stick Immersion Freezer

Triple Point of Water Starting Freezer

New Immersion Freezer Forms Ice Mantles Easily

There are many ways to form an ice mantle within a triple point of water cell. Using dry-ice chips, liquid nitrogen, and copper cooling rods are all common methods. None of these, however, offers the same convenience as Hart’s Model 2031 Immersion Freezer.

The 2031 consists of a freezing tube filled with low freezing-point refrigerant and a condensing reservoir. Just fill the reservoir with dry ice and alcohol, set the unit in your triple point of water cell, and leave it unattended while a uniform ice mantle forms within your cell in about 40 minutes. The refrigerant condenses in the reservoir, runs the length of the freezing tube, and automatically recycles itself.

No need to constantly shovel dry ice chips into your cell. No need to fiddle with liquid nitrogen. And no need to baby-sit your cell while it forms ice. Whether you're heavily involved with triple point of water cells or are untrained and just starting, the 2031 Immersion Freezer offers a fast, safe, and productive way to get the most out of your time.
