Hart Scientific has teamed with the Fluke Corporation, the world leader in electrical metrology, to create Europe’s most capable commercial temperature laboratory – Hart’s European Primary Temperature. Laboratory. Located in Norwich, United Kingdom, this lab combines Hart’s equipment and proven calibration processes, Fluke’s electrical metrology expertise, and a team of talented temperature metrologists, all dedicated to providing you with the highest quality temperature calibration support and service. The result is an extensive range of capabilities, including calibrations of SPRTs, secondary PRTs, thermistors, thermocouples, resistance thermometer readouts, and voltage thermometer readouts – all with world-class uncertainties, quick turnarounds, and pricing that understates the capabilities of this primary standards laboratory.

Hart’s laboratory joins a global network of laboratories and service centers for both Hart Scientific and Fluke products, including laboratories in Eindhoven, The Netherlands and Kassel, Germany.

The European Primary Temperature Laboratory offers primary calibrations against ITS-90 fixed-point cells and secondary calibrations by comparison. Details about our services, uncertainties and accreditation are available upon request. We invite you to review them, and then to try us out. We know our commitment to quality will be evident. Fixed points and ranges of the ITS-90

Hart Scientific’s European Primary Temperature Laboratory provides calibration services over ITS-90 sub ranges W4 to W10 (-196 °C to 962 °C). Services supplied in Norwich replicate those of Hart Scientific’s primary temperature laboratory in Utah, USA, and include:

Calibration of SPRTs by fixed-point and by comparison
Calibration of secondary reference PRTs and thermistors by comparison
Calibrations of noble-metal thermocouples by fixed point
Calibration of both resistance and voltage-based readout standards
