Y - Tested by Hart. No known
issues. Q. My computer does not have an RS-232 port available. Can I still use my software with this computer? A. Many computers today come with only one RS-232 port and many laptop computers do not have any RS-232 ports. It is still possible to use Hart software on these computers. Nearly all new computers come with USB ports. You can use a USB to RS-232 converter to add a RS-232 port to your computer. Hart software has been tested with a few of these converters and found to operate properly. Please contact one of Hart's application specialists or Customer Service Representatives for more information. Most Hart software now ships with a USB to RS-232 adapter included! |
